Chester Bowl closes for season March 15th

Our last day of winter operations was Sunday, March 15th. This was our scheduled closing date. Thank you for a fantastic winter! We have greatly enjoyed sharing the hill with all of you. We had over 1,800 season pass holders, about 1,200 of which rented gear through our rental program. We love seeing all the new skiers and snowboarders progress from the bunny hill to the chairlift, hearing about new friendships formed, watching our Cadets learn and grow as teen volunteers, and seeing our community put Peace in the Parks into action. We hope to see everyone back again next winter!

Events Rescheduled

Two of our postponed events (due to our chairlift issues) have been rescheduled.

Freestyle Friday, sponsored by Medium Control, is rescheduled for Friday, February 21st. School is out and we are open for day hours that day, so registration is noon-1pm with an event start of 1:15. The event was originally scheduled for 2/7.

The Husky Hustle, sponsored by the Grand Avenue Vet Clinic, is rescheduled for March 1st. The event was originally schedule for 2/9.

Open daily February Break

Chester Bowl is open daily, 11:00am-4:30pm, during February Break Week, 2/17-2/21. Spend your break with us! Please note that we are NOT open during evening hours that week, and that we ARE open on Tuesday and Wednesday, even though those are days we are usually closed.

Accepting Applications for the Chester Creek Concert Series

Chester Bowl partners with the City of Duluth Parks and Recreation Department to present the Chester Creek Concert Series- ten weeks of free live music in the park! Concerts are on Tuesdays starting June 9th, and feature a diverse lineup of musical styles and genres. Applications are being accepted through 4pm on Monday, February 20th for bands to be considered. Selected musicians do receive a stipend. Bands can apply at this link. If you have a favorite band that you would like to see on stage, please encourage them to apply!
