At Chester Bowl, we believe that every family should be able to learn to ski or snowboard and attend summer camp regardless of their family income. That’s why we offer full or partial scholarships to families that request one. This winter we are awarding $27,300 in winter scholarships and we awarded over $12,000 in summer camp scholarships this year- that is 300 days of camp!
We have several different ways that you can support the Scholarship Fund in 2024.
Fall Fest: Our annual Fall Fest event is on Saturday, September 21, 2024. It is a free event, but donations at the entrance are accepted, and directly support our scholarship fund. In 2023, because of the community’s generosity, we raised $10,662! Please see the Fall Fest tab for full event details.
Silent Auction: Our annual silent auction is back! The auction will be an online auction, opening the week of November 11th, and closing at 10pm on November 15th. We have an amazing selection of items and experiences to bid on, and you can feel good knowing that your bids support your community. You can bid now at this link: https://one.bidpal.net/chesterbowlsilentauction2024/welcome
Pizza Raffle: Want to give, but you are also feeling lucky? Buy pizza raffle tickets! The five delicious and amazing prizes are: 1. A pizza a month for a year from Vitta Pizza, 2. A pizza a month for a year from Pizza Luce, 3. A pizza a month for a year from Bulldog Pizza, 4. An ice cream cone a month for a year from Love Creamery, and 5. A Lincoln Park Growler Package. Raffle tickets are $10 each. Raffle tickets are available through Friday 11/15. The drawing will be at approximately 9pm at the Warren Miller event. You do NOT need to be present to win.
Raffle tickets must be purchased in person by cash or check. In addition to selling raffle tickets at Warren Miller’s 75, we are also selling raffle tickets during our ski and snowboard fitting nights, so you can stop by the Chalet to purchase them then! Remaining fitting times are 5:30-9:00 on 11/11, 11/12, and 11/13.

Donate: Finally, you can simply make a donation. All donations are tax-deductible, and every dollar you donate will go directly towards scholarships. You can donate online through our bidding software. A link will be here in early November. You can also send a check to Chester Bowl, 1801 East Skyline Parkway, Duluth MN 55812.
We are so grateful to those businesses and organizations that have already financially supported the scholarship fund, including LHB, Rotary Club 25, and Whole Foods Co-Op!
Whichever events you participate in, we appreciate that you are part of our Chester Bowl Community. It is because of people like you that we are able to continue to offer scholarships to families that need the financial support to be able to participate in Chester Bowl programs.
