*** UPDATE 9/21/24***
All of us at Chester Bowl want to share our gratitude to the community for a phenomenal Fall Fest!
We estimate that we had about 11,000 people come through the park today, visiting our 130 craft vendors and 10 food trucks! This was only possible because of the 100 volunteers that helped out through the day.
Fall Fest is a fundraiser for our scholarship fund. Thanks to YOUR generosity, we received $12,012 in donations at the entry! Every dollar raised will directly support our scholarship, allowing low income families to ski, snowboard, and attend summer camp, when they otherwise would not have been able to.
So, whatever your role, thank you for being part of Fall Fest and the Chester Bowl community. We will see you all again on Saturday, September 20, 2025!
Watch for updates closer to the 2025 event.

2024 Fall Fest Visitor Information
Our 40th Annual Fall Fest is on Saturday, September 21st from 9:30-4:30.
If you are a potential vendor looking for registration information, click this link.
Fall Fest is all about building community with friends and neighbors in the park! At this regional craft event you will enjoy music, food, crafts, locally grown fresh produce, vendors, and informational booths about local programs. The annual event has grown over the years and will host over 130 vendors selling locally made crafts, a great line up of music, 10 food vendors, and activities for children and families. In addition, Chester Bowl branded clothing and other items will be sold by the Chester Bowl Improvement Club. We will have many new products again for 2024, so you will want to get to the Chester Bowl table (just inside the entrance) early to buy our new gear!
Suggested donations of $5 per person or $10 per family will be accepted at the entrance to support Chester winter program scholarships for kids in need who want to participate in winter sports. Last year we raised $10,662 in donations- thank you so much for your support! Every dollar directly supports scholarships, ensuring that every family can participate in our programs regardless of income!
There will be live music all day on our stage!
10:00-11:30, The Trash Cats (Acoustic Rock)

12:00-1:30, Charity and the Hue (duo) / Charity and the Show Stoppers (trio) (Alternative folk/pop)

2:00-3:30, Stern Drive (Classic Rock and Pop Hits)
Free Shuttle Service: All visitors are highly encouraged to use the three free shuttle buses that will run continuously from the University of Minnesota Duluth parking lot B, located at the intersection of College St. and University Drive. Parking is very limited near the event, so walking, biking (bike racks near the entrance), or using the shuttles is highly recommended. There are a limited number of handicapped accessible parking spots near the entrance to the park. PLEASE do not try to drive and park in the neighborhoods nearby- the shuttle will be faster and more convenient, we promise!
Follow along on Facebook, and use the event page (https://www.facebook.com/events/344990728646380) to tell your friends about it and invite them!
To make Fall Fest happen, we have about 100 volunteer pitching in each year. Would you like to help us out this year? If you are participating in the winter program, these hours do go towards your volunteer commitment- imagine being done with your hours before the snow flies!
